Track and Field Club
Beginning in fall of 2017, a group of students across all grade levels participated in a track and field club to promote wellness among the school. This group of students practiced before and after school and competed against other schools in the district. These students served as wellness ambassadors in the school promoting the benefits of being healthy and active each day.

Field Day
On May 19th, 2017 during field day, students were involved in various activities in which they used recycled materials. Materials that have been used for various games include recycled water bottles, plastic containers, cardboard, tires, and string. Water stations were also set up all over the field to encourage students to refill their reusable water bottles. This cut down on the waste as students brought reusable water bottles from home rather than plastic disposable ones.

Walk MD is a walk-a-thon program that encourages students to increase your physical activity in a fun, community-oriented way with a challenging 500 mile virtual walk around the state of Maryland.
